How to use
- Enter the full public URL of the page you want to inspect.
- Click Check Canonical.
- Review the HTML canonical, HTTP Link canonical, consistency and self-reference checks.
- If a canonical points somewhere else, confirm that the destination is intentionally the preferred duplicate URL.
Important: This tool reports canonical signals actually observed in the response. A canonical tag is a preference signal, not a guarantee that Google will select that URL. Use Search Console for Google-selected canonical information.
